Meet the Heart Behind Shepherd Heart homecare
Shepherd Heart Home Care Agency was founded by Dr. Ruth and Michael Odoi (Ph.D). Dr. Ruth Odoi, is a board certified internal medicine physician with several years of experience caring for patients with diverse needs. During this time, she learned that former patients often return to the hospital for minor issues because they lack appropriate home care support tailored to meet their health needs in both the short and long term.
Recognizing that most seniors prefer to remain in their homes, where they are comfortable and can continue creating memories with their loved ones, Drs. Odoi decided to create Shepherd Heart Home Care. With a deep understanding of patient care, she realized she could provide the best possible care for clients at home, helping seniors stay in their homes, receive optimal care, and not feel like a burden to their adult children.

Dr. Odoi has over 7 years of experience as an attending physician of Internal Medicine at university and several tertiary hospitals. Her goal is to continue her high level of care for her patients in their home.

Michael has over 10 years of experience as a research scientist in various industries. He brings new tools and technology into how the home care agency is managed to help our clients get the best possible care.
